“Volevo essere un duro” received the Club Tenco awards, the most prestigious recognition in Italian singer-songwriter music, both for Best Album Overall and Best Single Song.
The album comprises nine tracks that explore themes of childhood, friendship, and love, born from the longstanding personal and artistic partnership between Lucio Corsi and Tommaso Ottomano (Sugar Music Publishing). Together, they co-wrote, composed, and co-produced the entire album.
To date, only three other artists have received this double honor: Fabrizio De André, Paolo Conte, and Samuele Bersani.
