Lucio Corsi is a 31-year-old singer-songwriter from Tuscany, Italy. After gaining experience as a guitarist in various local bands, he moved to Milan in 2012 to pursue a solo career, focusing on writing and performing his own songs in Italian. In that vibrant city, he decided to embark on a solo career, writing and performing his own songs in Italian.

In 2015, he released his first two EPs, “Vetulonia Dakar” and “Altalena Boy” (produced by Federico Dragogna and published by Picicca Dischi). This was followed in 2017 by his debut album “Bestiario Musicale” (Picicca Dischi), a concept album inspired by the animals and wildlife of his homeland, the Maremma territory, in Tuscany. That same year, Lucio Corsi opened for the theater tours of the band Baustelle and the songwriter Brunori SAS, performing across Italy and participating in different festivals.

In 2020, Corsi released under Sugar Music his second studio album – produced together with Francesco Bianconi and Antonio Cupertino – “Cosa faremo da grandi?” (meaning “what will we do when we grow up?”). He described this project as a collection of true stories disguised as beautiful lies, blending fantasy and reality with a poetic and surreal touch. The album was accompanied by stunning visuals created with the visionary director and composer Tommaso Ottomano, a close friend and collaborator of Corsi. The record received critical and public acclaim, leading to an invitation as a guest performer at the prestigious Premio Tenco 2021 at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo.

Corsi’s third album, “La Gente Che Sogna” (meaning “The people who dream”), was released in 2023 (Sugar Music) and showcased his passion for 1970s glam rock, both in sound and style. The lyrics explore themes of darkness, sleep, dreams, reality, and imagination. In 2023, he embarked on an extensive concert tour, including an opening act for The Who in Florence.

In November 2024, he made a comeback with the single track “Tu sei il mattino” (“You are the morning”), featuring a special appearance by legendary Italian actor Carlo Verdone in the music video. The song also plays a key role in the third season of Verdone’s TV series Vita da Carlo on Paramount+, where Lucio appears as himself.

In February 2025, Lucio made his debut at the Sanremo Music Festival, Italy’s most prestigious music competition with the song “Volevo essere un duro” (“I wanted to be a tough guy”), now certified platinum record. Originally the least known artist in the lineup, after the first performance, he quickly captured the audience’s attention, consistently placing in the top 5 each night. He ultimately won the public’s heart by performing the classic Italian song “Nel blu, dipinto di blu” (by Domenico Modugno) alongside the iconic fictional character Topo Gigio. Lucio eventually placed second overall in the competition, winning the prestigious Mia Martini Critics’ Award for his song.
